Practical Training at our site

We are based in the centre of Lowestoft, Suffolk.

We run the classes in small groups of four people, this allow you to have more time with the practical element.

We supply refreshments throughout the day. 

We have a relaxed training environment 

Unfortunately their is No Parking at our training site on weekdays, We do have Free Parking at the back of our offices at Weekends.

There are Pay & Display car parks that are very close to us. 

If you are using a push bike then you are welcome to park your bike at our front entrance.  

We will be doing a lot of practical exercises with the training manikin pets, and our trained real dogs, we are able to adjust the practical tasks if you are not able to get on the floor when doing the dog CPR part ( we place the dog on a table ) - You will be carrying out Dog CPR, Bandaging, Pet Muzzling and many more tasks.

The length of training time is controlled by the awarding body.

£45.00 per person

Please Note:  

No Pets are allowed on the course, 

as we will be using training manikins and live trained dogs 

 This course is ideal for pet owners or pet professionals. 

It covers the main first aid subjects for Dogs and Cats but this information is also suitable for most other animals. Understanding basic first aid for your pet will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse before professional help is given by your vet.

 This course is based on our popular full pet first aid but is adapted for teaching children.  

It covers a reduced number of skills and it is taught in an easy to follow format, aimed at children.

The Service Dog First Aid course is aimed at anyone working with active or retired police dogs and was designed in association with the London Retired Police Dog Trust. 

 Learners will enjoy covering a variety of subjects such as keeping your dog safe, car accidents, drowning, shock, CPR, bandaging, bits and stings, illnesses and more.

This course is approved by NASDU for the requirement of pet first aid in their standards.  

First aid is important to know for your security dog not only to comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need.
